The scope
June Lake Jam Fest is a beloved high-altitude music festival run by a small nonprofit. For 2026, they needed a real operations system: bands, lodging, payments, scheduling, production, volunteers — all coordinated across a small team with no dedicated ops staff.
What we built
A 32-table Airtable system covering every dimension of festival operations. Bands and their riders. Lodging assignments with availability tracking. Payment schedules and confirmation status. Production timelines. Volunteer coordination. All linked, all live, all accessible to the team without training.
The AI layer
The lodging recommender calls the Claude API live to match incoming band requests against available inventory — factoring in group size, budget range, pet policies, and proximity to the venue. What would take a volunteer 20 minutes of back-and-forth takes 3 seconds.
The donation
Built and donated in full to the June Lake Loop Performing Arts Association, which funds arts and music education for kids in Mono County. A cause worth real infrastructure.
